M-WERC announces five new members
Additions bring participation to more than 90 organizations

[Milwaukee, Wis.] – The Mid-West Energy Research Consortium is excited to welcome five new members to the M-WERC team. SAS Institute, Alliant Energy, Madison Gas and Electric, OSIsoft and Tetra Tech have all joined.  M-WERC also thanked Kohler Company for their renewed support of our organization.

The SAS Institute is the world’s largest privately held software business and is based out of Cary, North Carolina. They are a founding member of the Smart Cities Technologies working group.

Alliant Energy Corporation is a public utility holding company headquartered out of Madison, Wisconsin and will be active in the DE/ES Working Group.

Madison Gas and Electric Company (MGE) is also a public utility serving the greater metropolitan Madison area for more than 150 years. They are active in the DE/ES Working Group.

OSIsoft, a global leader in operational intelligence, delivers the PI System--an open enterprise infrastructure to connect sensor-based data, operations and people to enable real-time and actionable insights. They are a founding member of the Smart Cities Technologies working group.

Tetra Tech MA, Inc. provides leadership in energy efficiency and demand response program evaluation, as well as engineering, program management, and construction management services. For 30 years, Tetra Tech has leveraged their consulting and data analytics expertise across a variety of sectors including energy, water, transportation, aviation, resource management, and international development. They have been active in the EWN Roadmap and Working Group.
